How does the past performance compare?  Since they&#039;re all tracking the same index, any differences in tax efficiency and turnover should be reflected in the past performance graph in the prospectus (usually a 5-year graph of $10,000 hypothetical investment).</description>

question - could a slightly more-expensive ETF be &quot;better run&quot; than FSMAX and therefore be worth paying a bit more for? Aren&#039;t these all by definition virtual whole-market buyers and as such identical?</description>
